About Us
ExamNet has been designing grain software systems since 1984. Grain industry compliance and inventory software is our only business. We understand not only how to measure grain but also how regulatory agencies, both federal and state, establish official capacities.
THE GO-TO SOFTWARE TOOL
Let’s take a look at the 4 main aspects of ExamNet:
- Capacity: When a warehouse is licensed a bin capacity chart is created by a regulator. It defines the dimensions and volume in each bin. This is a one-time set-up step where bin information can be entered into ExamNet by your staff or we offer a facility setup service where we perform this task before you install ExamNet.
- Measure: Using our worksheets as a guide, staff will measure each bin and enter into ExamNet. Often all we need is: what grain?, sidewall measurement?, lay of grain? (Cone Up/Down, High/Lowside etc)
- Compare: Once inventories are entered, we then enter the Book Stock (which is the DPR bushel figure). These two figures should be within 3% and often can be within 1%.
- Post & Clear: When inventory is complete, Post & Clear will archive the bin inventory and clear the way for a new set of measurements. This provides a historical record of inventories for each bin and allows management to call up inventories as they were from any period in the past.
